 No, this blog isn't dead, I've just been busy. There's a new comic on Neocities "Catgirls & Wizardry". It stars highly energetic magical catgirl Bee Rumi (she'd appreciate if you just called her Rumi) and her exasperated bestest pal Mari as they do whatever slapstick thing comes to my mind. It'd be really cool if y'all checked it out.

 Yo. Today is going quite well, as a matter of fact. I'm just here to ramble about stuff since I haven't posted here in quite some time.   First things first, if anyone didn't catch the recent move, well here's my chance to tell you: Codename Rei has moved to Neocities, and will stay there until the comic ends, or unless I just suddenly lose interest. How is everyone? Good, good. I've got news for you all.  I've actually been focusing more on my other comic for a while now. That's why there's barely been anything to this blog. My bad. 

I know they make me mad. Surprise, reality TV makes me upset! I can tell you all about it but I'm not going to. I've got things that aren't whining about live TV to do.

For a bit of context, this was based off of a game in one of those ridiculous 200 or something in 1 plug n plays that I would play all the time and for who knows what reason this was my favorite game of the bunch. Now I actually have standards for games and this don't meet it.

Today's topic is reserved for the absolute bottom of the barrel when it comes to the quarter munchers. First off, Treasure Hunt. Treasure Hunt is a rather simple game, however it is quite difficult, no doubt due to shoddy coding. It's not a good game at all, the original developer "Hara Industries" seemed too focused on having this game be highly ambitious over actually any good, however Cinematronics must've liked it as they released it here in the states under the name Jack the Giantkiller. It looks big, but I'm pretty sure the actual size is in the single digits. It's just that Blogspot likes to resize images for better visibility when you're making a post on mobile (it's more convenient I suppose)  Anyway, so this one's gonna be a lot because I've got a few ideas to go. I swear I'll get back to actual comic making at some point, it's just that this month has been quite a depressing one. This post will act as sort of just me rambling while also showing some drawings off (most of which is fan art so credit where credit is due). So, guess I should begin with the whining. This month has been a rollercoaster of ups and downs, mostly downs. It's been nothing but misery and burnout that has caused me to just not want to do comics for a while. Rei will not be moving to Wordpress, however after chapter 2 I'll be putting any and all following chapters in PDF format and releasing them on this blog. Don't fret though, I like to preserve these so I will be putting a PDF of chapters 1 and 2 when I get done.  I also am going to try to be more active on YouTube as well, however don't expect much.

I see you've been around the corner. I just hope you'll be coming and going as quick as January did. Anyway, LoD will try to be more frequent and Rei is gonna move to Wordpress. So yeah, there's the news.

The burnout issues have mostly calmed down so that's ok I guess. Tomorrow is gonna be cloudy with a chance of comics coming up (mostly on the LoD side, I hadn't figured out anything for Rei)!

Hello folks, this will be a bit more serious than usual, so let's just get into it.  For the last couple of days, I haven't been drawing much. The reason is that I have odd, prolonging burnouts that show up whenever they want and leave whenever they want. It's exhausting to even open up the drawing app I use sometimes, which says something considering I love to draw, and if I'm feeling burnt out to the point where I don't even want to draw, then something is up.  That's not it. Second semester has started, and with it a sociology class. It's been back to back typing almost constantly, and that burns me out more. These past few days have really soured my mood and will to pretty much do anything. It's tiring, and I really don't want to even type anything for the rest of the week, but I have to, I have to get that one last thing done before I go completely insane and start bouncing off the walls, or worse.
